THE TOUR

What happened in South Africa is not just about one country, one context, one event. Through interactive workshops alongside this production, audiences came together with the Truth in Translation company – who lived through the conflict – to explore the common ground across cultures and spaces in the face of all that divides us.

After touring three continents in 2006 and 2007, which included cities such as Kigali (Rwanda), Belfast (N. Ireland), Washington D.C. (USA), Edinburgh (Scotland), Stockholm (Sweden), and Cape Town (South Africa), the cast of Truth in Translation performed in four countries in the Western Balkans (Bosnia and Herzeogina, Serbia, Kosovo, and Croatia) and in Zimbabwe (as part of the HIFA Festival) in 2008.
