Freedom Unfinished Workshop in Cape Town

This Wednesday, September 19th, at 7pm, Global Arts Corps Associate Artistic Director Nick Boraine and Truth in Translation Producer and ASSITEJ President Yvette Hardie will be hosting a workshop – Freedom Unfinished – at the District Six Homecoming Centre in Cape Town.

About the workshop and his experience as a cast member with Truth in Translation, Nick writes:

Global Arts Corps is tremendously excited to be reengaging with its South African conceptual roots. The play Truth in Translation was a landmark production worldwide, but we often felt that the work that began in South Africa was left unfinished in this country. In light of recent events in South Africa this event affords the GAC the opportunity to showcase some of the work elsewhere, reignite the global conversation on translating freedom and reflect on the unfinished business of freedom in South Africa!
