Truth in Translation screenings in Atlanta, Kabul, Winnipeg, Johannesburg, New York, and Paris this month!
Global Arts Corps is very pleased and grateful to our supporters for the opportunity to present Truth in Translation, the documentary, in five private screenings over the next month:
November 13th, 2013 – The Carter Center will be screening the documentary, in Atlanta, Georgia, with a talkback hosted by Michael Lessac, Jackie Lessac, and Thembi Mtshali-Jones.
November 18th, 2013 – Truth in Translation will be screened by The Killid Group and presented by Nick Boraine at the Afghanistan Centre of Kabul University as part of an International Seminar on Transitional Justice, Reconciliation, and Peace.
November 19th, 2013 – Global Arts Corps will present Truth in Translation to an invited audience in Winnipeg’s Plug-In Gallery.
November 21st, 2013 – Drama For Life Conference screening of Truth In Translation in Soweto, Johannesburg, at the Wits Main Theatre, University of the Witwatersrand.
December 2nd, 2013 – Columbia University’s Institute for the Study of Human Rights, Alliance for Historical Dialogue and Accountability, and Barnard Department of Theatre will co-sponsor a screening of the film on Columbia’s campus in New York City.
December 9th, 2013 – Michael and Jackie Lessac will present Truth in Translation at Le Laboratoire in Paris, as part of their Culture Labs programming.
